shaymin is crap compared to skymin (which is what people shorten sky shaymin to)

yeah, although shaymin has higher defence,
skyminhas alot higher attack and speed.

it was tested for overused or uber, but results came in as uber. too powerful, i guess. i think its the speed, the movepool (only heatran could counter skymin, then platinum came in and skymin could be tutored earth power...), and the special attack.

Oh yea, when movie 12 is released (which will be like late next year) there will be a Shiny Pichu event given away. The Pichu is ALWAYS shiny.
It will be released in Japan early next year. As such, mid next year for USA, and for us and Europe, late next year.
